The development of scooptrams has a history of hundreds of years. The horse-drawn scooptram appeared in the 18th century. The scooptram was placed on the ground and dragged by a horse. The distance was about 15-50m. In 1883, a wheeled all-metal scooptram was manufactured. In 1910, the United States manufactured a special scooptram towed by a tractor. The former Soviet Union manufactured tire tractor scooptrams in batches after the 1920s.
In 1938, the United States manufactured self-propelled scooptrams. The twin-engine scooptram was manufactured in 1949, and the chain-loaded scooptram and the world’s largest scooptram (with a bucket capacity of 200m³) were manufactured in the 1960s.
Compared with the first generation of self-propelled scooptrams, the product grade of CL7 self-propelled scooptrams has undergone a qualitative change, creating a new era of my country’s scooptrams.
